On May 25, Sunday, hundreds of footballers gathered to a unique tournament in Aldershot. The event was 14th instalment of the Gurkhas Cup 2014.
The team comes from as far afield as Belgium and Portugal travelled to the stadium at Queen Avenues for the charity contest. The crowd of 12,000 were watching and enjoying food and stalls.
According to Gurkhas Cup Co-ordinator Mr. Dhan Gurung, the hope of quite a lot of people, this is an event for the Gurkhas and Nepalese people residing in the UK. In fact we are trying to run this event for everyone.
Every-year Tamu Dhee Association, UK organizes this event. This year very bad incident happen during match, Gurkhas player had fight against next team in the stadium; you can see this fighting footage in Youtube. According to news reports, two players is given red card and one red car for blue team.
