Many Nepali movies are being shot in the foreign lands but Nepal owns natural beauty & rich cultural heritage have been fascinating many foreign movie and documentary makers to do their shooting here
. Not only have those different television commercials (TVC) been shot in Nepal one of which is for “Volkswagen the famous German car brand”. On 27 may 2014 the TVC for Volkswagen new Tiguan was shot in Nepal. The fifty nine second commercial was shot in KTM, lalitpur & Bhaktapur. The ads are in Chinese.
The Nepal government has been earning money from the foreign movie, documentaries and commercials shot here. Last year the government earned around Rs. 3.17 million from the film shooting carried out in different places of Nepal.
