She received warm welcomed and her mother was very happy and cheerful, when they arrived. The huge crowd had chanted a slogan like, Nepaliko Shaan, Teriya Magarko Samman. The Magar Samaj, Kathmandu had been contributory in organizing the welcome programme. 11-years old Teriya Magar, she had won the heart of million people all over the world. After winning the DID title, she was awarded KB3 Cup with Rs. 10 Lakh cheque. Teriya Magar has received about 1.7 million public votes to win this title.
