Princess Shruti Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah (Rana)

Late Princess Shruti Rajya Laxmi Devi, was born on 15 October, 1976. She was only daughter of king Birendra & Queen Aishwarya and sister of crown prince Dipendra and Nirajan. The princess Shruti studied at Kanti Ishwori Sishu Vidhyalaya and St. Mary’s convent in Nepal. Later she joined at Mayo Girls College in Ajmer, India.

She successfully completed her Bachelor’s Degree from Padma Kanya Campus in Nepal. She was married to Kumar Gorakh Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana, he is a member of an aristocratic Rana Family of Nepal. Shruti had 2 daughters named Girvani Rana and Surangana Rana. Princess Shruti has work to art and Nepalese literature. On June 1 , 2001, she along with her father, mother and two brother were killed in the Royal Palace Massacre. She was died in hospital of extreme bleeding after shooting.
